Our first day in Dublin, Ireland.

Well here we are, I can't belive it. yesterday Wednesday morning at 11:30am we were in San Diego, Now we're standing on the OConnell bridge in downtown Dublin. pretty cool. After unsuccesfully trying to sleep on the plane, which is hard when you are 6'3 and the seats we're made for the hobbits on the plane, we groggly arrived. Took the cool double decker bus to the hotel (pictures of the hotel later). We went for a walk, here are some of the sights:

O'Connell Statue (My cousins are O'Connells)

It still has not really sunk in that we are half a world away. Josh was tired in this picture, but he is having fun. But it's pretty amazing. Everybody smokes here! and lots of pubs.

Below are just a few pictures of our first few hours here.

This was my first stop when we arrived in Dublin: COFFEE!

A couple more things...

Went to the Airplane museum on the way home from Riverside. Sammy loved it. I love this picture. Check out the name of the plane...

Also, thinking about buying this car 1941 Packard... But my good buddy keeps asking me why?

Simi Valley

Well here I am in Simi Valley, the safest city in California, or so they say.  No cartel, drug guys chopping your head off or federales shaking you down for 20 bucks. So I guess it's safe. Been busy lately.  Near the end of March I was in Winston-Salem for 5 days attending a missions conference, it was great! Below is me speaking in English, signing in ASL and the man standing next to me is translating into Spanish. A tri-lingual service.
I then flew to Seattle for a meeting that got cancelled, which was OK because I flew back to San Diego on first class with Virgin air. That was a blast.  Richard Branson got it right. All airlines should be like his. Had a 4 hour layover in san Francisco, so I took the train to pier 39 and had a clam chowder.
Yummy. Saw a big head.

I got back to the Ranch in time to hang out with a wonderful group of people from Oregon. then I was off to Riverside, California Baptist University for a screening of "Hearing Everett". They put us (Josefina and sammy went with me), up in a very nice swanky hotel. The Mission Inn.  It even had a special place for little boys.
The movie screening was nice and my wife made some new friends and had a fun time.
I'm gonner stop now, because, this is getting all jumbled up.

The latest...

Well today is Wednesday. Last weekend I was in Riverside for a movie screening at California Baptist University. It was a very cool outdoor screening, so a shout out and thank you to Daniel Blair for making it happen. A few people stood up after the movie and dedicated their lives to Jesus. Yay!
While there we (my wife and Sammy went with me) stayed at a very cool hotel, you would think there wouldn't be anything in "downtown" Riverside, but downtown was actually pretty cool. We stayed at the Mission Inn, a very cool very old castle looking hotel. Pretty swanky. This place was huge and a maze, I don't know how management keeps up, there are so many rooms, nooks, stairs, patios, hallways, restaurants,  and etc. I bet you there are people hiding out living there that no one knows about. I bet Osama is hiding there.
Photos to follow soon.

My trip to North Carolina

Now that I have "deactivated" my Facebook account, I have more time to update my blog. So here goes, sorry for the long hiatus.
I recently went to Winston-Salem (I guess they couldn't make up their mind which name to use), to a large missions conference. It was great, the people were very nice and I had a wonderful time. I love going back East,  One of my favorite parts of going back east is the Waffle House. What an interesting piece of America.
